Feeding Baby Owls At Lakeside Nature Center

Lakeside Nature Center received baby Barred Owls this spring.  Naturalists take special care not to imprint baby birds -- they plan to release the birds and don't want them to have any memories of being fed or cared for by humans.  When the babies are fed, staff and volunteers wear a special costume.
