Due to KCMO city budget cuts and a reduction in staff, Lakeside Nature Center will be reducing hours that the building is open to the public beginning the week of July 6, 2009.  Hours of Operation will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM.  Lakeside Nature Center will be closed Sundays and Mondays.

Animals will still be checked into Lakeside's Rehabilitation Hospital on Sundays and Mondays even though the building is not open to the public.  Volunteer assistance in Rehab will still be very welcome Sundays and Mondays.

Programs about native Missouri Wildlife will continue as they have in the past, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
