Project FeederWatch
June - Who Will Fly By?

Project Feeder Watch ended in April.  We will keep you up-to-date on sightings at the feeders.  After several years of compiling statistics, we are confident that we can predict which species of birds will come to our feeders each month.  The most common native birds you will see in June are Mourning Doves and American Goldfinches.  Robins and Purple Martins are on the grounds of Lakeside Nature Center, though they aren't feeder birds.  The Chimney Swifts are sitting on their eggs in the swift tower in the center.  We've even seen Mallards in the stream behind the Center.
