Project FeederWatch
July - Who Will Fly By?

Project Feeder Watch ended in April.  After several years of compiling statistics, we are confident that we can predict which species of birds will come to our feeders each month.  The most common native birds you will see in July are Mourning Doves and American Goldfinches.  Robins and Purple Martins are on the grounds of Lakeside Nature Center, though they aren't feeder birds.  While they are not birds, White-tailed Deer, Eastern Cottontail Rabbits, Eastern Gray Squirrels, Raccoons and Opossums enjoy the seeds at our feeders and slake their thirst at the stream.
