Celebrating Urban Birds – A Native Wildlife Event

Join us for this native wildlife event celebrating urban birds. There will be presentations with our raptor ambassadors, activities and arts and crafts.

Events:

• 10:30     Hike with a Naturalist. For more information on the guided hike, go here.
• 11:00     Meet out Peregrine falcon
• 12:00     Presentation –Cornell Lab of Ornithology, “Urban Birds and Why they Matter”
• 1:00     Meet our red-tailed hawk

All day activities:

• Information tables on the 15 species of interest to Cornell University’s Lab or Ornithology. People will be encouraged to participate in Cornell’s Citizen Science Survey.   

• Arts and crafts will also be available.
