Fox Hollow Fest

Enjoy an afternoon filled with fun activities for all ages. Attendance is free with optional items for sale. Proceeds go to Friends of Fox Hollow for trail maintenance and improvements.

The third annual Fox Hollow Fest will again celebrate National Trails Day. Go here for more information on the Fox Hollow trails system.

• Partner and Sponsor Booths. 12 to 2:30 p.m.
  Meet local organizations that work hard to improve and expand our urban green spaces and discover projects happening all over the city. See below for the complete list of our partners and sponsors.
• Crafts. 12 to 2:30 p.m.
  Three crafts will be available. Make a fox mask, a walking stick or a nature journal.
• Guided Hikes. 1 to 1:30 p.m.
  Explore Fox Hollow Trail and learn about the unique habitats and species that live in them.
• Native Plant Sale ($). 12 to 4 p.m.
  Sow Wild Natives will be on site selling their gorgeous native plants.
• Raffle ($). 12 to 4 p.m.
  The raffle features art and wares from local KC companies and artists.
• Merch Tables ($). 12 to 4 p.m.
  Fox Hollow merchandise will be available for purchase as well as homemade pottery.
• Food Truck ($). 1 to 4 p.m.
  451 Pizza is the newest concept in mobile wood-fired pizza – not Neapolitan, not exactly New York style.
• Live Music – Cori Jo and The Crawdads. 2 to 5 p.m.
  From the heart of the Midwest, Cori Jo and The Crawdads are carving out a fun sound with a unique blend of Country, Western, and Bluegrass that harkens back to the roots of American folk and honky tonk music. Cori Jo Hawkins fronts the band with her fiddle, powerful vocals, yodeling, and heartfelt songwriting that draws inspiration from iconic artists like Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton. She is backed by her rowdy band of Crawdads, Brian Kohrs on dobro, banjo and guitar, Zack Fischer on bass, mandolin and vocals, Scott Tabler on drums, and Mark Ford on guitar and vocals. They are set to release a fresh album of original songs this year.
• Beer Garden ($). 2 to 5 p.m. Sales end at 4:30 p.m.
  We will be selling beer to those 21 and over.
