The Weather is Frightful – A Native Wildlife Event

Join us for a native wildlife event focusing on how animals deal with extreme temperatures. Some animals deal with frightful weather by using migration, others will use hibernation or brumation and some will simply endure the temperatures.

There will also be arts and crafts activities and display tables.

10:30 am    Wilma, our box turtle, teaches about hibernation and brumation.
11:30 am     How animals deal with bad weather.
121:30 pm   Learn how our turkey vulture escapes winter by migrating.
