This native garden volunteer event is to spread mulch in the newly created “Debby’s Sun Garden.” Dedicated to our friend, Debby Barker, this garden is in the process of being redesigned and replanted.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like to bring a group for a volunteer event, please fill out an inquiry form.
This event is weather dependent. You will be emailed if the event is cancelled due to inclement conditions.
Please gather at the Nature Center front doors before work begins.
The following are recommended:
• wear work gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeves or garden sleeves, if weather allows,
• apply insect/tick repellent (provided) to your skin and clothes,
• wear sunglasses or protective eyewear,
• bring your favorite gardening tools such as snips, loppers and a small shovel
• and bring a refillable water bottle.
You may encounter insects, poison ivy and/or prickly plants.
