Residential and commercial curbside food waste collection in the Kansas City area.

Missouri Organic Recycling
Kansas City residents can drop off yard waste for free on Saturdays at select locations; non-residents can drop off at all locations for a small fee. They also have food recycling for businesses.

MOshrooms Regenerative Microfarm
Residential food waste subscription for residents of Parkway and Rockwood school districts.

City of Kansas City
Yard waste drop off Monday – Friday at three locations for a fee. Free on Saturdays to KCMO residents. Non-residents and commercial enterprises can drop off for a fee.

Pendleton Heights Curbside Compost Program
Bicycle-powered (in warm months) and van-powered (in cool months) food waste collection in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood. They also accept drop-offs at their location at 520 Garfield Avenue.

Free food waste (and some yard waste) drop off offered to all KC metro residents.
