Animal Homes – Native Wildlife Event

Join us for a native wildlife event about where animals live and how they build their homes, ranging from beaver dams to massive eagle nests.

There will also be craft activities and display tables.

Presentations/Animal Encounters:

  • 10:30 am – Education Animals Presentation. Meet an Eastern mole and learn how they build and utilize tunnels. For more information on our education animals, go here.
  • 11:30 am – Education Animals Presentation. Meet our toad and salamander. “Retiles and Amphibians – Builders or Borrowers?”
  • 12:30 pm – Raptor Ambassador Presentation. View Warsaw, American bald eagle and learn how eagles build and re-use nests. For more information on our raptor ambassadors, go here.
