Celebrating Trees and Trails

Did you know we have a woodland trail right in the heart of Kansas City? Yes, at Lakeside Nature Center you can take an extended hike through woodlands and also visit a savannah and a marsh.

Encounters / Presentations:

• 12:00 pm – Talk: Choosing plants and gardening for bees, butterflies and birds.

• All day – Make a nature craft to take home.
• All day – Get a temporary nature tattoo.
